For RVs, vans and trailers

Campgrounds that fit your rig. Even with no signal.

Tell RigStop how long your rig is. It hides the campgrounds you won't fit into, finds dump stations, water and propane, and plans your nights along the way, all offline.

How it works

Three taps to a place to sleep.

No more scrolling through reviews to find out the sites max out at 25 feet.

1

Tell us your rig

Enter your length once. Add hookups, pull-through or price if you care.

2

See only what fits

Green pins fit. Grey pins don't list a length, so you know to call ahead. Too-short spots are hidden.

3

Go, signal or not

Download your state and everything keeps working in the desert, the forest and the middle of Montana.

Fit first

Length is a filter, not a footnote.

Every campground with a published max length is checked against your rig before it ever shows on the map.

  • Fits, or it's hidden. A 40 ft rig sees fewer pins than a 20 ft van, as it should.
  • We never guess. When a campground doesn't list a length, it's grey and says so.
  • Coast to coast. Florida, Maine, Montana, Texas, all 50 states.

Trip planner

Plan the nights, not just the drive.

Pick where you start, where you're headed and how far you like to drive. RigStop picks a real campground that fits for every night.

  • Your pace. Set miles per day and swap any stop with one tap.
  • Saved for offline. The route, drive times and turns are stored on your phone before you lose signal.
  • Text and voice turns for the car route, with your maps app one tap away.

Offline

Built for the places with no bars.

The campground list for the whole US is inside the app. Download a state's map and roads, labels and pins keep working in Airplane Mode.

  • Search works offline, everywhere in the US.
  • State map packs from 19 MB, downloaded once over Wi-Fi.
  • Nearby essentials: dump stations, water and propane on the same map.

Honest data

We tell you what we don't know.

Wrong information gets RVs stuck. So RigStop never fills a gap with a guess, and it says so out loud.

Real places only

Every campground comes from Recreation.gov or OpenStreetMap. Nothing is made up, ever.

"Length unknown" means unknown

A missing length is never shown as a fit. Grey pin, grey badge, call ahead.

Directions are a car route

Turn-by-turn in RigStop is not checked for low bridges, weight limits or steep grades. We say that on every guidance screen. Always follow road signs.

Fixes come from you

Spot a wrong length or a closed park? Report it in two taps. A person checks every report before anything changes.

FAQ

Questions RVers ask.

Where do the campground lengths come from?

From Recreation.gov, the US government's booking site for federal campgrounds, which publishes max vehicle lengths per site. RV parks and other places come from OpenStreetMap; most of those don't list a length, so they show as "length unknown".

Is the route safe for my RV?

We don't promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does without the data. RigStop's directions are an ordinary car route. They aren't checked for low bridges, weight limits or steep grades. Check your route and follow road signs.

Does it really work without signal?

Yes. Campground search and details work offline across the US. Download a state's map for roads and labels. Plan a trip with signal and its route and turns are saved on your phone.

Do I need an account?

No. Your rig, saved places and trips stay on your phone. There's nothing to sign up for and no ads.

When is it available?

RigStop is coming to iPhone first, with Android after. Email support@rigstop.app if you'd like to try the beta.

A campground's details are wrong. What do I do?

Open it in the app and tap "Something changed? Report it". We check every report and fix the data in the next update.
